Yaezakura refers to the double-flowered cherry blossom, one of Japan’s most celebrated natural symbols, and these bowls carry that motif with quiet elegance. The carved blossom pattern sits just below the surface of a soft celadon green glaze, visible as you look into the bowl or hold it in your hands. It is the kind of detail you notice gradually rather than all at once.
The glaze itself has the gentle variation you expect from quality Japanese ceramics. No two bowls are perfectly identical, which is precisely the point. The warm terracotta clay visible at the rim and base grounds the softness of the green and gives each piece a handmade honesty that factory-finished ceramics simply cannot replicate.
Each set includes two bowls and two pairs of chopsticks in a rich reddish-brown with silver detailing. Everything you need for a considered meal for two, presented in a gift box.
Use them for ramen, rice, noodles, or any dish that deserves a beautiful vessel. Dishwasher and microwave safe.
Designed and made in Japan. 14.9 x 6.9cm per bowl.
